PCCF Approves Grant for Eye Exams and Glasses for Pickaway County Students
November 13, 2023 - Pickaway County Community Foundation approved a grant to help supply Pickaway County students with eye exams and glasses. With this grant approval Anne’s Smiles will be able to help more than 25 students get an eye exam and needed glasses. Anne’s Smiles is excited to roll out their “Visions of Hope” program and help students see better.
PCCF Approves Grant for Hygiene Supplies and Shoes for Pickaway County Students
October 3, 2023 - Pickaway County Community Foundation approved a grant to help supply Pickaway County students with hygiene packs and shoes. With this grant approval and matching funds Anne’s Smiles will be able to distribute more than 100 hygiene packs with full size hygiene products in them. Anne’s Smiles will also be able to supply more than 100 pairs of shoes and socks to students in need through our “Finding a Child’s Smile” project. Anne’s Smiles is thankful for the grant approval and excited to be able to help students that need it.
Circleville Walmart Donation During Health & Wellness Day’s of Giving
September 17, 2023 - Circleville Walmart distributed a $1000 donation to Anne’s Smiles during their annual Health and Wellness Day’s of Giving event. The outreach by Circleville Walmart is making a great impact in the community they serve.
Families @ Amazon Supports Local Mission’s Efforts to Supply Students with Bookbags
August 27, 2023 — Amazon DCM6, "Families Group," collected bookbags for Anne's Smiles. The families group at Amazon focuses on community connections for their service area which includes all of Pickaway County. The area manager, Keith, was excited to help us get bookbags to students who need them. In addition to bookbags, they donated several dozen shirts, lunchboxes and metal tumblers. The tumblers will be great for students since the schools no longer utilize drinking fountains. We were excited to partner with the ESC to use the lunchboxes for food distribution to homeless families. We are so thankful for Amazon DCM6 and their drive to give back to the communities they deliver too.
Corteva/ Pioneer Seeds Supports Local Mission’s Efforts to Provide Hygiene Supplies, Shoes, and Emergency Clothing to Children in Pickaway County
Ashville, Ohio, August 27, 2022— Anne’s Smiles Charitable Mission is pleased to announce that Corteva Agriscience donated $3000 toward the purchase of hygiene supplies for school children of all ages throughout Pickaway County as part of their company sponsorship program.
“Our efforts to provide hygiene supplies, shoes, and emergency clothing to the children of Pickaway County would not be possible without such generous donations” commented Marisha Eveland, founder of Anne’s Smiles. “Corteva remains focused on the challenges faced in the rural areas that use their products, and has stepped up to help a small organization, from a rural county - they haven’t forgotten their roots,” commented Eveland.
Anne’s Smiles partners with school counselors, social workers, and other community leaders to provide shoes, hygiene products, emergency clothing, and other needed items to fulfill its mission of providing dignity, joy, and a smile to children of all ages.
Corteva makes contributions to community-based organizations on behalf of the company and employees. Consideration for outreach grants is given to communities where Corteva sales representatives, farmer dealers, employees and customers live and work and that support quality-of-life initiatives to create an improved, sustainable lifestyle for people worldwide.
