Outdoor Mission Work

What is our Outdoor Mission Work Program?

Buying shoes and bookbags and making hygiene packs may not be some of our volunteers cup of tea!! We also do mission work for volunteers that would like to be a little more hands on and work outside. We have a team that makes and replaces footbridges in local parks, cleans up walking trails, and helps elderly people doing maintenance on their homes. If mission work is something that you would like to help with please reach out to us.

July Mission Day at Hargus Lake - 2 footbridges were repaired, trees were removed from trails, brush was removed to help widen trails and 72 pounds of trash was collected from the trails, banks and other public areas.

November Mission Day - It was a cold blustery day, but we managed to gather another 50+ lbs of trash, cleared the remaining north side of the Hargus Lake trail and fixed one footbridge.

March Mission Day -

Deer Creek State Park

It was a cold and windy day but our wonderful group of volunteers worked tirelessly to make such a huge difference
